One script tag
Add the script, point it at a container and you have an editor. No build step, no framework, no bundler.
Coming soon
EnterraEdit is a lightweight editor that drops into any page. Not live yet — this page is where it will be.
What it is
Most editors are libraries you build with. EnterraEdit is meant to be something you paste in: its own editing surface, toolbar, themes and undo history, in a single script.
Add the script, point it at a container and you have an editor. No build step, no framework, no bundler.
Mark up an existing form field and the editor upgrades it in place, syncing the content back when the form is submitted.
Bold, italic, links, lists and alignment, with a word count and an undo stack, all in the browser with no server round trip.
Two ways to run it
Both are being considered, and the choice is not made yet.
Point at a single file on our content network and you are done. Nothing to download, nothing to update, and the editor stays current without you touching it.
Take the file and serve it yourself. No external dependency, works entirely on your own infrastructure, and you decide when it changes.
Nothing here is downloadable yet. Both options and the licensing around them are still being decided.
In the meantime
Tell us what you would use it for and we will let you know when there is something to try.
